九谷 錦苑　花詰め徳利　または花器

胴いっぱいに菊・牡丹・椿などの花を色絵と金彩で隙間なく詰めた徳利です。裾には緑と黄の蓮弁の帯と金の線がめぐり、すっきりとした細身のかたちに華やかな絵付けが映えます。

お酒の席はもちろん、一輪挿しとして飾っても絵になります。同じ一式の花詰の盃と合わせると、酒器の揃いになります。九谷 花詰 高台盃

器面を花で埋め尽くす「花詰」は、九谷焼を代表する意匠のひとつで、現代まで受け継がれています。

Chrysanthemums, peonies, camellias and other flowers are packed tightly over the body in enamels and gold. A band of green and yellow lotus petals with gold lines circles the foot, setting off the slim, elegant shape.

Use it for sake or as a single-stem vase. With the flower-painted sake cups from the same set, it makes a complete sake set.

Hanazume – covering the surface with flowers – is one of Kutani ware's signature styles and is still practised today.
